The last day in the parks is always bittersweet. You want to do the most possible because it's your last day. Today, the whole family was going to the parks. But first, breakfast with a certain somebody. Before the trip I planned to have a character breakfast with Jillian as it's sort of become a tradition of ours. Last time down we ate at Crystal Palace and this time we had ressies at 1900 Park Fare. Jillian picked me up at my hotel a little before 9 and we went to the Grand Floridian. At the entrance were Marry Poppins, Burt and Belle and they were busy with the rugrats so we went to our table. Our waiter was....odd. We never saw him coming or going; he just appeared. It was really weird. Anyway, breakfast was good and I was happy to see that the mickey waffles were not limited to just the kids buffet. Last year they were only at the kids buffet so I was a bit out of place trying to grab some of them away from hungry 6 year olds. After breakfast we took a picture in the lobby of the hotel and we were off. All in all a good time.

After breakfast Jillian dropped me off at Epcot were I attempted to meet up with the rest of my family. They had grabbed Fastpasses for Mission:Space and were riding Test Track. After finally meeting up, we went to M:S. My mom was going to have no part of it but my dad said he would go on. Well he chickened out so it was just me and my sisters. I had ridden it before but it was their first time. While we rode, my parents enjoyed the Flower & Garden festival and such. Both my sisters loved M:S and couldn't wait to do it again. However, we had other plans. Me and my sisters took the
monorail to Magic Kingdom so they could experience Phillharmagic. We got there, waited in line and my sister pointed out that in the extreme heat that was present for our trip you have to perfect the "superman pose" as to feel halfway decent despite the sweating going on. Anyway, Phillharmagic was great and I asked Naomi if I could sing during the songs and she was so involved in the movie she just shoved me rather than waste time on me.

Afterwards we rode Pirates of the Caribbean mostly due to the fact it had little wait and then ate at El Pirata y el Perico. I had read some good reviews online and in the Unofficial Guide but the food here really wasn't that great. There's exactly 3 offerings here, it's mostly outdoor seating and for picky eaters(see my sisters), it was difficult. I had the taco salad which was pretty good but the shell was pretty bland tasting. Afterwards my parents picked us up and we went back to the hotel for a break (from the heat!). I had wanted to go swimming but as soon as my body hit the bed, I passed out. Skip ahead a few more hours, we went back to Epcot where we had dinner ressies at Italy. In the meantime we rode Spaceship Earth as a family (awwww) and then walked around a few of the countries. Dinner in Italy was decent. Portions were small and prices expensive but my sister and mom and their hearts set on eating in Italy so I clearly had no say in it. Our waitress was very nice and I think we all had a good time. After getting out, we did some more shopping and then watched Illuminations. It really is one of the, if not the, best nighttime show. So with Illuminations overwith, we walked in the sea of people to the exit and I bid goodbye to Disney World one more time, vowing of course(a la MacArthur style) to return very shortly. We headed back to our hotel for some sleep before we had to head to the airport and exit the swealtering land of sunshine.

Things I Learned
- Illuminations is really terrific.
- Italy is best experienced when others are paying for it :p
- Going in May/June is very hot.
