Mattress shopping help

We are buying a new queen size mattress. It's hard to compare the mattress in the stores because thay all use different names.
We are looking for a firm-maybe a pillowtop. What are your favorites?

Funny you mention that. We just bought our new queen size mattress last week and it came in yesterday! We shopped around at a couple of different places and found a shop nearby that we liked. Being a Starwood member, we try and stay at Westin Hotels that have the Heavenly Beds. My DW and I really love them. I asked the salesperson about them and he said Simmons makes them for Westin. The model is a Beautyrest but I can't remember the exact model. Anyways, they had it on the floor and I tried it out. Sure enough it felt the same and we bought it! Anyways, I suggest checking out any of the Simmons Beautyrest mattresses. They are really comfortable! Good luck!

We bought a Serta and it is smaller than it should be by almost 2 inches.

I like the firmness of it but we would probably go with something else.

We purchased new mattress sets for our children, also, and they are very happy with them. I can't see what brand they are because they are covered up but I think they are by Sealy.
