I've been watching out for refurbs for my upcoming trip. I usually rely on touringplans, but noticed that wdwinfo has the Matterhorn listed for an upcoming lengthy refurb while TP does not. Is anyone aware of this refurb/knows which website is generally more credible?

The Disneyland.com website has the Matterhorn closed from Feb 6 through April 27.

My first choice is Disneyland.com (either via the map or the operating calendar). I think the calendar is good for showing specific days, while the map is good for finding out the dates of the refurbishment. Just note, that information comes out kind of piecemeal. I don't think any one website is going to be all that much reliable than any other website. I think it's generally best to check as many sites as possible and see if there is any consensus. If something shows up on a lot of sites, that's a good sign that it'll be down. If it's showing up on only a few sites, it means it might be down.

I wonder why the lengthy refurb. Maybe they are going to upgrade the last upgrade. ;-)
