A filler is a host prize that has nothing to do with the month.. and most of the time isn't rare.

You WDW people think its all about you...

Over in Disneyland, we have Matterhorn being in Fantasyland, and it is quite beloved (thus, it is a great choice for a Host item).

So, the pin set is basically: DLR Fantasyland attractions (Also, [I don't remember honestly] but do you guys have Alice in Wonderland?).

To think that Matterhorn is filler, when we're celebrating Fantasyland, is quite narrow-minded.

And For what it is worth DLR Fantasyland Kicks total butt over MK Fantasyland

WDW has No Alice, No Mr Toad, no storybook canal boats, no Circus train, and Small World is horrendous compared to DLR.

I never meant, nor did I ever say that this month's pin was a "filler". It's actually an awesome pin, and it does have something to do with this month. Narrow-minded? That's rather rude.



Also, I'm quite aware of what the Disneyland "D" is, and what it looks like.

"Filler" to me sounded like, "Eh, why do I bother even going? The prizes
aren't rare, so it's not worth it."

Of course, it's probably not what you meant, but that's how I read it.

Players are becoming so conditioned to entitlement that it's affected
players who host their own player-created games. Rude players have told
me that I gave out bad prizes. I've witnessed them telling the same thing
to my friends who've run games, too.

That angered me, because for every "cheap" prize, if you went into the
stores and bought enough prizes to cover the amount of prizes given, it
adds up to a LOT of credits. It makes me want to smack the players
who have the nerve to complain about that.

Sorry, I have to get off my soapbox. I'm just really annoyed with the
feeling that whatever VMK brings out isn't good enough for everyone.

In saying "You WDW people think it's all about you" and saying that we're "narrow-minded", isn't that a narrow-minded statement itself? I'm one of those "WDW people" and I personally think the Matterhorn is a perfect HOST_ Pin. There is only one Matterhorn in the world, and it's in DLR, that's how special it is. I understand how Disneyland tourists think it's special because it's unique. And to top that, I really don't think there is a such thing as a bad HOST_ prize. Just because one person who is as you said a "WDW person" is narrow-minded, doesn't mean we all are. I would like to consider myself open-minded, i'm sure many would disagree, but I know there is at least a handfull of people in the entire world who goes to WDW frequently and are open minded, so please don't label us all as narrow-minded because honestly, your making yourself look narrow-minded. This post isn't meant as a flame or a start to an arguement, I just personally felt offended by what you wrote and decided to call you on it. I don't want to be mean to you or anyone else, that is not my intent at all, just keep in mind that for every opinion, there are millions of other opinions contrary to yours, I just wanted to help you be aware of that .


P.S. We don't have an Alice in Wonderland dark ride BTW, but we do have the Tea Cups.

The only reason I said filler in the original post, is because I thought there was already a Matterhorn Bobsled pin that was for sale.

I apperciate everything the hosts do, they don't have to give out prizes, but they do.

I'm a WDW Person and hey I think DLR's Fantasyland, Toontown, and Tomorrowland are way better than WDW's. I want to go there but I Live VERY far from it.

We live really close to DLR..and go often... we love them to...

I love it's a small world. The best part we can make my husband's cousin crazy just by singing it.
