Does anyone remember this talented singer? I found a wealth of music by him on the internet and even his bio. I sort of know him growing up but didn't realize how talented he was until I listened to the internet elections. he embodies the cool music of the 60's to me.

Yes, Matt Monro. He was an English singer popular in the 60s and early 70s. He had a few minor hits here in the States, most notably My Kind of Girl. ("She walks, like an angel walks....") Matt was often referred to as "the English Sinatra". He passed away sometime in the 80s, if I recall correctly.

Yes, Matt recorded Born Free.....a pretty good version, too.
