I woke up at 6am after being woken up by a noise. I think it was the A/C coming back on but it was enough to fully wake me up. I hadn't planned waking up until 7:30 so I got up and headed out to grab breakfast. I saw Denny's on the ride in to my resort but I saw a Waffle House on my walk over and immediatley changed my mind on where to eat. For me, (dumb northerner), Waffle House is a real treat. I can't eat at one unless I cross the Mason-Dixon line. On my way over I did a very stupid thing. Since there's about a 1/4 mile between stop lights I decided to cross US 192 in the middle of the road. Although I made it across safely, I definetly felt like a human frogger. Besides, I could just hear the headlines on the evening news, "Big accident on I-4 and moron from New York gets killed trying to get to Waffle House...more at 10". :p

At any rate, I made it back, relaxed at my hotel room and then got picked up at 8:15 to go to MGM. Arrived at about 8:40(late taxi), let in at 8:45 and let loose at 9. The waits today were a bit more than at Epcot the day before. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster was waitless for most of the day while Tower of Terror had a max of 30 from 11am - 2pm, then subsided to near-no wait. My overall strategy was fastpass Tower and ride Rnr during the wait. My only deviation from this strategy was when I went to go see other attractions, but for the most part I always kept Tower fastpassed.

I ate lunch at Backlot Express...GREAT FOOD! The burgers are HUGE and I ordered a side of Chili($1.25) to garnish my burger with. I've heard alot of negative things about it since the Fixins bar was closed but I felt it was as good a value as you can find on Disney property.

I spent much of the rest of the afternoon riding Tower and Coaster. I did find the perfect way to relax when your body starts hurting. Simply experience Millionaire followed by the movie in One Man's Dream - you're guaranteed to feel very relaxed, or very sleepy. Weather was hotter than the day before but it was much more humid so it felt a lot worse. But since I spent so little time waiting outside, it didn't matter much. During the afternoon, I was riding Coaster at one time and noticed a pretty good looking girl waiting in line near me. Low and behold, we got placed in the same row. Now, I hate to do it but I needed something to talk about so I pretended I never rode Coaster before and our conversation went something like this...
Me: Have you ridden this before?
Her: Yea, it's great!
Me: Wow, I can't wait.
Her: It's in the dark!
Me: No, way!

I know, I know....guys are jerks for doing stuff like this. It turned out she was from Brazil but she was more interested in Coaster than me as she quickly ran out to get back on line. Oh well, looks like I was punished for the show I put on.

At 7 I saw Fantasmic and then caught a cab home. I stopped at Denny's to get dinner....it was so nice to get a full meal for under $10. After eating I only had enough energy for a quick shower and then off to bed.

Things I learned.
-Eating after 2:00pm lunch is the way to go. Nearly no line.
-Backlot Express is great for lunch!
-No audio problems on Coaster but a few lighting problems where when the coaster would go past something that was supposed to be lit up, it either came on just before we passed through or not at all.
- The larger the cheerleading group, the more annoying they are.

Thanks for your report! Sounds like you like RNRC and TOT :teeth:
