Math HELP!!!!!! Need help with this problem!!!

No book here to help me try to figure this out. PLEASE help my dd with this problem.


Solve this equation:

4 . 7/c=7/3 (the DOT is supposed to be in the middle not at the bottom...isn't that meaning multiply???)

so your equation would be 4 x 7/c=7/3
28/c=7/3
then cross multiply so you get 7c=84 then divide by 7 on each side so your answer is c = 12.
