I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR MATCHING TROPICAL DISNEY CLOTHING ON DISNEY DIRECT FOR A MONTH AND THEY FINALLY HAVE IT! CHECK OUT THE TIKI SHIRTS, DRESSES, AND SARONG SKIRTS. SO CUTE.

They do have some cute stuff. The only they have matchingfor myself and the DD is the tiki sundress, little pricey with the shoes, for 2 outfits it would be around $100. I think I could find something in the stores for less, but we will see.

I know what you mean. I had my mom buy them when she was in Hawaii. I have gained some weight and was worried that it would either look like a mumu/large camping tent or show every bump and lump. I was thrilled when I tried it on. She bought one that is form fitting (not in a gross way ) instead of a large sack and it was soooo cute. (I am about a size 16 right now so that is saying a lot!) They run very small. She bought me an 18 and it is tight (motivation) but even being tight it is STILL cute. Anyway......

I became familiar with Hilo Hatties on my honeymoon about a hundred years ago, and before our second DCL cruise, for Tropicali night, we got on line to HiloHatties.com, got matching stuff, and lived doing so. Brought it on the Wonder in January and will bring back on the Magic next month, even though Tropicali night has been retired for Pirate night. Agree, it is of course not Mickey-fied, but there are other opportunities for Mickification, like the tie I will wear to semi formal night and to Palo's.

Thank you for the Hilo Hattie's suggestion. I went there years ago in Hawaii and at the time bought a matching set for dh and I - aloha shirt for him and a mumu for me. Of course they are long gone, and I didn't realize there was a website. I just went online and ordered a couple things to wear on our next cruise, it will be fun to bring back some old memories and create new ones.

I just ordered the Disney tikhi sundress for the girls and the matching one for me and the shirt for DH. I got 15 dollars off too. Not much savings, but better than nothing. I figured we will wear our outfits on the first day when we embarke and to one of the islands. Thanks for the link, they are cute clothes and a Mickey theme too.

fyi...this week they have $15 off $75 online at disneydirect...no code required, it just shows up! Convinced me to get the new line even though we have last year's specifically for the cruise too!
