matching clothes

hi all

so we learned this trick the last time we went to wdw in april 2006. i bought matching shirts for the girls (18 mths and 3) for everyday we were at the parks so i would only have to look for one color if 1 should run off.

so heres my dilemma this year.

we are going to wdw dec 20 to jan 3....whats the weather gonna be like? i will have an almost 6 year old, almost 4 year old and a 18 month old. so i want to do the same thing again.

i ask this question now, becuase if the weather is going to be cool, i want to buy the long sleeved shirts now, when the sales are going on before the spring/summer stuff comes in. or if it will be hot, i will buy the short sleeved ones in late summer when the winter wear comes in.

i know, not a major crisis. but for this mom.......coming from rainy bc...and going to wdw in december...i have no idea about the weather!

and i you know of any great shops that sell matching shirts for that size range, please let me know. i know childrens place rocks at this. and our canadian please mum is also wonderful. any others?

you could always just buy short sleeve shirts. then if it is cold put a long sleeve shirt underneath. i have done this with my kids lots of times. we went to wdw last september and we bought disney tee shirts for $5 on the website. so watch for those specials. Then you can just put a long sleeve tee underneath, if it is cold.

Have a few of everything ready.....

We were just in WDW Dec.20-26 & my family wears matching WDW outfits every day of our trips. We brought matching Disney:

long sleeved tees
short-sleeve tees (4 or 5 sets)
hooded sweatshirts
holiday sweaters (2 sets)
fleece jackets
gloves & caps

Since it was Christmas, most of our shirts were Disney holiday themed.
I got matching sweaters at the Disney Store and we bought matching holiday tees when we got to Disney.

I also made 2 matching sets using designs that "rumblytumbly" (here on the DIS) designed. They look great.

The weather temps. varied greatly the week we were there...some days sweaters, the other days, t-shirts.

December is freaky for temps in Disney. Last year part of the week we walked around without jackets and the other part of the week we were bundled up complete with gloves and ear muffs. Its really hard to say, but I kind of agree with the layering suggestion-you cover your bases that way.
