I hope someone can help. I have checked out the Fan Club Thread and the AAA thread, some of these posts look quite old.

I saw on Mousesavers.com that if you use your Mastercard, you receive 10% off @ all Citywalk restaurants, is this true? I am trying to save some money and I see that the Fan Club Card is no longer good for discounts at the shops and restaurants. I guess what I am trying to ask is where would I get the best discounts on the restaurants, shops, etc. I do have a Mastercard, Fan Club Card and Entertainment Card. I would be willing to get one AP or join AAA if the discounts would be better. Does anyone know for sure what discounts you get with which card and do you get 10% off with your Mastercard? I haven't seen anything about that here. Would appreciate any advice, thanks!

PS I already have the room booked with the Entertainment Rate so that's not an issue.

Uhmmm... I am a AAA member forever... but you didnt hear this from me - AAA cards save money everywhere and they never even look. You flash it and they say okay AAA discount...

Sometimes you dont evven have to show the card - just say you have it.

It kinda annoys me cause I pay for AAA plus for 3 of us :) The tow truck guys never look - ever.

Call your triple A office, see if they have a trial membership and use that.

there is also a mastercard special - buy 4 get 1 free for the 5day universal passes.

Thank you for the info Ishy! I did get the buy 4 get one free Mastercard special on my tickets. Those have been bought months ago :). I was kinda hoping the 10% off deal was good with your Mastercard, though I will join AAA if I have to. The savings will more than pay for the membership anyway. Let me ask you this, we are 8 traveling together, six in my immediate family, plus sons wife and daughters boyfriend. Would this be good on say the entire check for a dinner at Citywalk?

Yes, the 10% AAA discount is good on your entire check. It's also good for the counter service restaurants in the parks.

I would even venture to say most waiters will accpet it for even sep checks cause your more likely to make it up in their tip :) Since you are so many - if your planning on being there a few meals you may want to look at the hotwiresavingsclub giftcards. you need to actually join - not use the free membership - they have nice resturants listed like planet hollywood - and you get a 5 dollar credit (a month later) with each purchase of 25GC. If you expect to eat a few $$$ meals you can save 20%
