Master Card Cash/Gift Cards for Kids

Some past posters have mentioned how they give their older kids a MasterCard gift card to use on the cruise. The card has a preset limit on it and is tied to the child's name on their KTTW card. This way the kid can make some of their own buying decisions but their card does not have the same credit limit as their parents' cards. I 'd like to do this to help teach them some budget responsibilities and as a back up incase they lose the card!

Now, where do I get one of these cards?

I beleive if the kids go over the preset limit given to them that it would carry over to the parents' credit card they have on they're account. Just to let you know in case that happens to you,
