Masks

Back when masking started here back in late March, I had just bought a new pack of tiny white cotton socks. Some of them became mask pouches to keep in my car and purse. Ziplocs didn't feel right though it probably doesn't matter much. I liked the thought of ventilation better.

At first I though how crazy do you have to be to worry about where you put your mask, as if the table you are sitting at is so dirty that you'll eat food from it but not place your own mask down? If you "stuff" your mask any where or in anything it will get germs from the front to the back, It's going to happen people... Putting it in something is piece of mind and pretty much nothing else.

But then my minds thinks about those new cases that you can put your phone in and it will use UV lights to sterilize the entire phone, they are fairly compact and could fit a mask in that with ease. Maybe two back to back. Don't know if they are cordless or not, but may be USB powered. you couold place this on your table and after 10 minutes everything is sterile again. Just one more thought on the matter.

Just got on amazon to look and they do show masks as an option to put in instead of phones, and they have them with aromatherapy so you can add a lemon scent or something while sterilizing it. pretty sweet!

When we were there in July I brought paper lunch sacks to put them in, but never used them. I got so hot and sweaty that the mask was very damp when I took it off to eat, so I hung it on the handle of my walker most of the time. I also hung it on a carabiner hook hanging off my purse that I hung my hand sanitizer on sometimes or laid it on my lap. It just needed some air to dry out a little bit. This isn't probably the "right" thing to do, just telling you guys what I actually did.

Lanyards!! I used my mask lanyard all day yesterday at a different amusement park and it was AWESOME!! Highly recommend!

We brought our phone soap and used it on our masks in the room. It would have been a little large to lug around.

Paper bag. We each have our own when we eat out. Only people I see ever keeping it that way but thats recommended.

I usually fold mine and put it under my napkin on my lap. At the Wave, they had small plates to put them on, and at Wine Bar George, they brought us paper bags.

I can’t believe this is that much of a thought. I throw it in my lap. :rotfl:
