Hey all! I have been looking at internet sites for dresses because I am really aching to start that process. Last night I can across a dress on Mary's Bridal that I am quite smitten with at the moment! The prices are so reasonable as well! Has anyone had any experience with this designer? Any details would be awesome! Thanks much!

This is the dress that has me ready to purchase (and crossing my fingers that it looks good on me). I would get it in white.

My dress and tiara are Mary's Bridal. I love them both. The beading is beautiful. Fit really well. I didn't need any alterations. Maybe find a shop in your area that carries that dress so you can try it on in person. It's very pretty by the way.

I don't have any experience with Mary's Bridal (sorry! :goodvibes ) but I just wanted to say that the dress is absolutely gorgeous!

I purchased my dress through Macy's Bridal in February. The consultant that helped me was wonderful and you could tell she has been doing this for awhile because she was able to help me pick out the best styles that worked for my body type. She was one of the nicest people I have had to deal with since planning the wedding. We went back and also ordered our bridesmaid's dresses through them as well since they were so nice and helpful. Two of my bridesmaids live out of town and they have out of town measurement forms that I sent to the girls and Macy's took care of the rest. They talked them though taking the measurements over the phone and everything. Whenever I have a question, I can call up and they are so helpful. If your Macy's is anything like mine, I highly recommend it. I remember reading that you got engaged in NYC...do you live in New Jersey? I went to the Macy's in Menlo Park Mall and my consultant's name is Elaine.

Good Luck...if you have any questions, feel free to ask here or pm me.

I meant to ask...I am pretty sure the only line of dresses that Macy's carries is Demetrios. Check out www.demetrios.com to see all their dresses.

Happy dress shopping...
Jessica

PS: I posted a pic of my dress a bit back...I do plan to put together a plannign journal someday but it's been kind of hard lately since DF is always around. Can't have him seeing that dress yet. :-)

sorry...i read macy's and not mary's. Oh well...good luck dress shopping anyway. :-)

Haha - Mary's/Macy's. They look similiar! Thanks for the information anyway though. I do like some of he Demetrios gowns so I might just make my way down to Menlo Park to try Macy's out! (yes I am a Jersey girl!)

that dress is gorgeous!!! i bought my dress from mary's -- they have great gowns, for great prices!! its taking a while to get my dress in (ordered it in June.. still not here, and probably won't arrive until next month) so make sure you have time to wait for it! but i don't know if the wait is from the store i bought it at, or mary's, but either way it doesn't matter. i say definatly go find that dress and try it on.. its a beautiful gown and i'm sure you'll look gorgeous in it!! good luck :)
