Mary Poppins To Premier in London

Great News. Broadway.com has announced the creative team for the highly anticipated Mary Poppins stage musical. Expect Mary Poppins to premiere in London at the very end of the 2003-2004 season or, more likely, during the 2004-2005 season. The Great White Way would probably follow-suit shortly thereafter.

For any of you that watched the Academy Awards Sunday night--how about the standing ovation the one and only original Mary Poppins received !!??
Julie Andrews looked regal as ever; I told my DD who was watching with me that they don't make stars like her any longer.
She is truly "practically perfect in every way".....
