Mary Poppins experts

Are there any stores that carry different and many Mary Poppins items? Shirts, hats, postcards, etc?

I am on a mission to get my great niece and sister Mary Poppins goodies?

We are hitting all 4 parks, so that's not a problem. May hit DTD if there is time too, but would like to include this shopping in my plans.

Oh Id love to know I also love Mary Poppins, also not to hijack your thread Evil Queen but does anyone know where you can see Mary Poppins?? I saw a library in the UK pavillion that had some blocks spelling out her name but the only characters that came where Winnie the Pooh and gang..

This was a VERY long time ago, but in the late 90's in England at Epcot they had a large selection of Mary Poppins items. I remember a litho of Mary flying with her umbrella over children flying kites (very impressionistic, lovely, and expensive!) and some various kitchen setting items. Most of them at the time were really more geared toward adults, though I DO believe they had "the snowglobe". In 2004 I did not go back in the same store, but glanced in the window and it was wall to wall Pooh.

I don't know about the merchandise, but we see MP in the England pavilion at Epcot every time we go. Sometimes she is indoors in one of the shops, but we always see her. Check the daily guide when you get to the park. It should list the times and places to see any of the characters!

You can see her as a character. She is a meet and greet character. She takes pics and signs autographs!!! You can see her in her white dress, or her nanny outfit!!! Hope that help!

As you can see by my user name she is my favorite. There are only two things that I have found, a postcard in Epcot and I got a t-shirt embroidered at MGM.

Ok, at least I have a mission in Epcot.

We are going to 1900 Park Fare for breakfast, so oldest DS (his fav Disney movie since he was about 6) can "meet" her and get his pic with her. He doen't know about it yet, it's a surprise. We are also ordering his cake from there.

Does any cake experts know if they have a Mary Poppins cake topper?

MP was everywhere last March, parades in MK, 1900Park Faire for dinners, EPCOT in the toy store with Pooh near England(I think) she was always lovely and in white dress.

I'd try just asking at one of the bigger stores like the Emporium because I'm sure they get requests all the time and may know from past experience where to send guests looking for certain characters or at least be able to give you their best guess.

If you have a post card, have Mary write a little something to them on the back and sign it.

I didn't notice any merchandise last December, except for the DVD. Of course, with the upcoming Broadway musical, that might change.

I did find a couple of pins also, I forgot about that. I bought my postcard first and I got her to sign the back of it. They have a little cart in UK and I found the postcard there.

I don't know about merchendise, but I've seen her a lot at UK in EPCOT wearing her white "Jolly Holiday" outfit. At 1900 Park Fare's breakfast, she was wearing her red "nanny" outfit.

Check out the Grand Floridan gift shop... last time I was there (many years ago) they had Alice and Poppins stuff that was found no where else in the park... on account of the britsh theming

I've seen Mary Poppins at the 1900 Park Fair breakfast, she was in the white dress.

I've also met her in the Great Britain garden at EPCOT, she was in her nanny outfit.

I just really need to get great neice something. We're trying to arrange a trip for her in October, but not sure. She's going thru the divorcing parent thing, but also her Dad is just getting out of critical care at Vanderbilt for 3rd degree burns on 30% of his body.

We were talking Disney to her on our recent trip and she said how much she loved Mary Poppins.

I am liking the postcard idea, get it signed at our 1900 Park Fare breakfast and get older son to take a pic of her cousin (my DS10-they are so close) with MP, while she is signing the postcard, or hold it up during the pic.

My sis (mentioned in original post)-is the Grandma to this girl. They may both get the same thing. My sis is the one who first ever watched Mary Poppins with my oldest child.

I ran into "that Poppins Woman" outside of Cinderella's castle one day. No one was around and I got to visit with her all by myself (ok the CM and my Wife was there too).

I was in Heaven!
