MARVEL's Moon Knight

Super late to the game, but I just binged this series this weekend. OMG I love it! Maybe I feel differently because I binged it, but I loved episode 5. I appreciate seeing what happened to cause all the mental illness. It made me cry so hard!

I realize that I may also have a different perspective because I have a roommate with DID, and have had another friend with it in the past. The depiction here wasn't completely accurate, my roommate doesn't have an ancient god giving her commands and all, but it seemed much more accurate and less offensive than a lot of Hollywood depictions (though this is the opinion of someone from the outside, not someone with the disorder).

I had never heard of Moon Knight before, and I just ordered a collection of the 2016 comics. I know it will be different. My favorite character int he show is Steven Grant, and he's like a 180 from the comic book version, apparently, but it got me interested. And if the comics end up not being that great, oh well. Just means that it's even more amazing what they managed to do with the show.

If I hear or see one post mention Oscar Issac so often my heart will leap out of my chest because every time I watch Moon Knight my heart flows with happiness and I blush every time I see Moon Knight. I saw today's episode this morning and thought it was weak at the beginning but the excitement didn't actually start until the end. But I do agree with you Oscar Issac is amazing and I think he is the main reason why Moon Knight is a hit for Disney+. In fact my mom saw an interview with Oscar Issac yesterday and he was great and I hope the season finale next week is great

Agreed. Oscar Isaac wasn't really on my radar before Moon Knight, but OMG, this has to be some of the best acting I've ever seen! That scene in the last episode where Marc and Steven switch off seamlessly, but you can always tell who it is is just amazing! I'm gonna have to rewatch all the Star Wars movies he's in, and pay extra attention to him.

I am with you Grand Koalafornian. I actually finished Loki when I learned about Moon Knight and when I saw the trailer for Moon Knight I fell in love with Moon Knight and when I saw that first episode I became Moon Knight obsessed and I think he's such a sweetheart and I even have a moon necklace like he wears too and Dad even got me a Moon Knight poster last week. Engelbert Humperdinck's song A Man Without Love is in constant airplay in my music as well. My mother hasn't even seen Moon Knight herself and she wants to watch it herself sometime but she thinks Moon Knight is great from what she's heard about

I really enjoyed it. I think it was a made in a lab to make me happy. Oscar Isaac, Eyptology, and some humor.

For you who are going to check him out in Star Wars. Poe Dameron is one of the better characters in the latest trilogy (yes I will die on that hill.) Also his chemistry with John Boyega was fantastic. I wish these two had more to do in the trilogy together.

That was a big issue with the Sequel Trilogy (which I generally like a lot) - the main three weren't together very much and didn't really bond in the way the other characters did. I think that's why I like Rise of Skywalker a lot, because they are all together for most of it.

My aunt has now developed a Moon Knight obsession as well as a crush on Oscar Issac and she has been seeing Moon Knight clips on Youtube and wants to get Disney+ herself so that she can see Moon Knight too. My aunt also has been seeing Oscar Issac clips on Youtube and she wants to get the same Oscar Issac songs that I have on an MP3 so she can hear him sing as well. And she's already planning to collect Oscar Issac photos as well. When my mom told me about it I just laughed and I think my aunt is trying to copy me by liking the same crushes I have. I hope my aunt enjoys Moon Knight as much as I did when she sees it herself sometime

My aunt was telling me that there will be a Moon Knight movie before Season 2 of Moon Knight is filmed and what she also told me is that to expect to see Oscar Issac do more for Moon Knight and it has proved that Moon Knight will be one of Marvel's top superheroes and I think it is true that Moon Knight will become a huge superstar for Marvel. My uncle also has become a Moon Knight fan too because of my aunt and wants to learn more about Moon Knight himself as well
