First a little info to let you all know why this trip I am planning is so important to me. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 6 months ago and have been doing all the things needed to beat this (surgery,chemo, next radiation) So I have been pretty down until DH says why don't you plan for our next Disney trip, Soooo.. I so wanted to get onto the new Disney Dream cruise, my call into member services was answered right away by a pleasant voice of Mia, she wanted to know what she could do for me. I really wanted to do a long cruise but alas the new Dream only was doing 3, 4 and 5 days in 2011, so decided to do B2B, 3&5 and use my points to do so(finances a little tight with all the medical bills) I knew I had enough points in 2010 to do the Cat 11B, (we own 2 memberships BCV & BWV) Now I never told Mia about my cancer but did say DH and I would be celebrating our 40th anniversary, she said she would make it all work out. After about 1 and 1/2 hours on the phone
I was feeling like it would never happen # 1 the 3 day had the 11B Cat but the 5 day was totally sold out of all the inside rooms (I really wanted to stay in same room for both cruises) all they had left was Cat 9B deluxe porthole rooms and above. So I questioned if possible could work out both doing the Cat 9B, not enough points in 2010 (my use years are June & March) the March one was doable to borrow but not June until 1st of June 2010
Knowing the rooms were going fast for the 5 day she wanted to do this for me, put on hold again and then, Miracle, she comes back and says after talking with "others" they would make an acception to transfer points from my BWV to BCV and borrow a few from 2011 from BCV whew she did it for me, I was in tears because she really did not know how important this is to me but she did her over the top best anyways to see that my DH and I would get this Cruise. If I could have given hugs over the phone she would have gotten the biggest ever! I can't believe it I now have something to look forward to plan and help give me hope for my future, they say it's a positive attitude that gets people through bad times and boy did I ever get positive from her, Mia you are the best! So now I am into a big planning mode so will be searching and asking a lot of questions about the Bahama cruise (never done this one)

Last year my Guide, George, helped me out of a real bind. I wrote a 2 page letter to Mr. Lewis and Mr. Allen detailing the stupid errors I had made and how terrific George was in getting me back on track. About a month later I received the nicest phone call from a lady in Mr. Lewis' office telling me how much they enjoyed and appreciated my letter. That made me feel great. Then when I talked to George around the Christmas webcast he thanked me himself. So they do actually get to someone and the Guides are commended for going above and beyond.
