I haven't actually finished my last trip report, but I'm going to get that done fast, and then start working on this one, since we just got back this weekend!
Our trip was September 25th and 26th, Friday at California Adventure and Saturday at Disneyland. We roughed it at the motel 6. ;-)
This weekend was a long time coming, since I was supposed to take my son for his LAST birthday in September of 2020. This year he was turning 15, but thankfully still wanted to go to Disneyland with Mom. We haven't ever done a trip together, so he was pretty excited about it. It was not quite as seamless as a trip with my next-oldest child, my daughter, since we have very similar Disney tastes. We still had a great time though, even if we spent way more time in Galaxy's Edge and Avenger's Campus than I normally would. He didn't want to go any sooner, because he had really wanted to go during fall/Halloween time and see the decorations and "Monsters After Dark."
This is my guy when he was little on his first trip. I think he's 6 here.
And from the other two trips he's been on. 2016 and 2018. So he hasn't actually been for about 2 1/2 years:
He loves all things Marvel and Star Wars and hadn't seen either land yet, so he has been pretty excited for that! He has grown SO much in the last 2 1/2 years. He's still not "tall," (though taller than me), but grew 9 inches since his last trip! Crazy kids and their continual getting so big... (Pic is from this summer at science camp with the next two younger siblings. They're all getting big!)
