Not exactly. Universal's contract with Marvel was done years before Disney had anything to do with Marvel and the contract says Universal can keep it going as long as they follow the terms. The contract is in perpituity so the odds of Marvel breaking the contract w/o paying a HUGE fee is slim to none. Now...Disney could...if they wanted offer a buyout to Universal for their contract but that's not going to happen until the attractions at Marvel Super Hero Island are not worth updating. The only way Marvel can cancel the contract is if Universal doesn't follow the existing terms.
Personally I think Disney is going in for workd dominance by taking over one theme park at a time...today Universal ...tomorrow six flags....and where is the evil laughing smilie.....btw I am jokin
