Martin Luther King Day Weekend

Anyone know if this is considered a Holiday for room rates?

If you check mousesavers.com they have the rates broken down. MLK is higher but only by about $10 a night.

my wedding falls right in this time period i'm not sure if there is an increase in rates, but it was super hard to get rooms for the beginning of that week...

yeah, it was next to impossible to get a room for that weekend. i'm staying in 3 different hotels because i couldnt get anything for a whole week!

That is not good news as we are looking for the same weekend.

Did you wait until the last minute or did you book early?

I booked mid October. MLK weekend is definitely busy, but the rest of the week is empty... we got some great rates for Monday (MLK) night to Friday night
