how far is the resort from disney and which route do you take. is there anything close to the resort ( shopping, etc.). How are the rooms and amentities such as the pool. do they have a lake. thank you.

I think it has a couple of lakes.

It completely depends upon traffic - it is the next exit down on I4 (the SW one). So it can take as little as 15 to 20 minutes with a wreck or even heavy traffic it can take another 30 minutes to an hour.

I would go ID - from MCH you turn right - then at the light turn right (you are now on ID) - when this roads deadlines you turn right (turning left will put you on 417 the toll road to the airport) stay on this road it will go to WDW.

or ask stated you can take the interstate.

grocery store and other shopping - MCH you turn right - then at the light turn right - about 2 blocks (might be less) on turn right again - this is a strip mall - with a Publix. Across the street and little up is the Premium OUtlet mall - BIG MALL - lots to shop here.

You definitely need a car.

SW is around a mile (might be more from it).

to get to SW from MCH you turn LEFT - at the light turn left - SW is around 2 blocks (again may be less) - it is a left turn signal.

to get to the I4 from MCH you turn left - then at the light turn right - this is going ONLY.

coming back you take the SW exit and just stay on that road until it passes Rensaissance Hotel then turn right(at one light) and then turn left (at the next one).

15 to 20 minutes - depending more on the traffic lights. I have never found this section of ID to have alot of traffic on it.

We stayed at Cypress Harbour and loved it. You will too. The condos are very nice. We had a 2-bedroom which was great. they have pizza hut right on the property and there is at least 1 lake. Two pools and a great activity calendar. Lots to do around the pool.

As the last poster mentioned, it only took us no more than 15-20 minutes to get to WDW. And that means right into the parking lot and getting out of the car. You could ALMOST walk to Sea World. It's about 2 blocks away. Also the Publix and liquor store are basically across from Sea World. Ask at the desk and they will give you a map of where everything is. A car is very, very helpful.

Have a great time and enjoy. When are you going?

We were there in May and will be back again in about 10 days, but who's counting? The accommodations were very nice two-bedrooms (ask for a refurbished room by the pool). There is a convenience store that makes sandwiches, etc and another area with a Pizza Hut and ice cream takeaway. The pools were lovely, with music piped in and some kids activities. SpiceyCat already gave you good directions, my husband also used Palm Parkway (just past 4) to get to DD quickly (10 min). There are also some restaurants along that route.

We were there in May. I can't say for sure, but I don't think so. I'll ask when we go next week and report back! :flower:
