I see the Marriott Palms resorts are running a special where you get a daily $30 credit at their Marketplace Express. How is this - do they have a restaurant there, or is it just a convenience store? How well stocked is it? Would you be able to make a few meals out of it?

We were at the nearby Sabal Palms in July and I walked through the Royal Palms property everyday, including an occasional walk through the lobby and past the Marketplace Express area. Compared with other Marriotts' full-sized Marketplace convenience stores the Express version at Royal Palms looked really limited in scope of merchandise and services. It's located in a nook at the registration building that's in front of the pool complex. Honestly, I don't recall for sure if they had the deli counter that the regular Marketplace store have but I think so - just smaller. And there was nothing that could be considered a restaurant. But certainly the Express didn't have the fairly impressive line of food and beverage products that the stores at Cypress Harbour and Grande Vista have.
You may be hard pressed to spend $30 a day there.
