Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve

Hello!! Has anyone stayed at Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve? I am not a Vacation Club member (and don't plan to be one), but I see you can book rooms through the resort booking system. Do they give you a rundown when you check in and try to hard sell you on being an owner? We will be in Orlando for 2 1/2 weeks at Disney but for the first 4 nights of our vacation, we will be staying off property. Any input would be great!! Thank you in advance

We have stayed a few times as Marriott owners. You may be asked to attend a presentation before arrival. Just politely decline if you don't wish to attend. It may take a few times. There shouldn't be any push at checkin. They may call your villa a few times if you refuse, just tell them again you don't want to attend. Or you can always unplug the phone in the villa.

The resort is great, and you will also have access to the facilities at the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton. I would use those days to just hang out at the resort.
