Marriott Sabal Palms

Has anyone stayed at the Marriot Sabal Palm resort in Orlando and can you give any feedback?

We've stayed at the Marriott Imperial Palms and the Royal Palms villas on the World Property but the Sabal villas are so close to the World big Pool that we were thinking of booking there this year. When I check out the property online it looks a lot older than the Imperial and Royal but you never can tell.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry I can't help you with your posts, but wondering if you could tell me what you thought of the Royal Palms, we need a 2BR villa. I think Imperial are the 3 BR? Is that correct?

The kids traveling with us will be 7,13,14,15 at that time.

Just checked the TUG reviews for Sabal Palms. The last one was Feb 2003, but they said the units had recently been redone and were nice. Most complaints were about the pool, but you can use the World Center pools so that is not a big issue.

I think that you will be fine.

I have stayed at all 3 near the World Center and I liked Sabal the best. Like a PP stated, Sabal is closest to the World Center pool and you can walk easily from there. I thought they were still in good condition but if they have been renovated that is even better. They were all built within a few years of one another so age is not really an issue. Go with Sabal, that is my 2 cents!
