Marriott Royal Palms refurb?

We are due to stay at Royal Palms in late July. Received an email today that said, "*Ongoing resort and building enhancements currently taking place at Marriott’s Royal Palms*.

Anyone know about this? We have free cancellation so can make a change if necessary.

We just left there Sunday. There was a sign by our room indicating but I never noticed anything. One time when I was at the front desk there was a gentleman complaining about noise since it was their rest day and I heard them tell him it wouldn’t take long. I really didn’t notice anything at all and we were there for 9 days

Thank you! We are not bothered too much by daily construction noise. Just wanted to make sure we wouldn't be in the middle of huge work zones that would impact the overall experience. Appreciate your reply.
