Marriott Rewards Points - Horizons?

This is a two part question. Has anyone stayed in a "regular" room at Horizons (without the full kitchen)? How was it? Is there a free shuttle to SW and MK?

Has anyone successfully gifted points from your account to a family member with a Marriott Rewards account?

this is a timeshare so no shuttles would be free.

What do you mean it will cost to gift the points? How much will it cost? Just to clarify, I'm talking about reward points earned by staying at Marriott hotels, not timeshare points. Is there a resort fee?

boy one day will say what I mean.

timeshares have no free transportation. the shuttles will cost them. If they are flying they have to find their own transportation to MHL. So might just consider a rental car.

Someone else was gifting me the points, and was just able to make the ressie in my name with a CSR with no issue. I'll look into renting a car. Thanks!

OHHH I just got a $10 a day weekend rate with Alamo! So excited!! I almost booked full price ($150), but remembered mousesavers has some codes!!
