What can you tell me about the Residence Inn near Sea World? We are planning on staying there the beginning of July. TIA for your help.

Only stayed there once a couple years ago, but it was nice. They offer a hot breakfast every morning, internet access, decent pool. Depending on the room you've booked, you will have plenty of space, kitchen and stuff. They also offer evening snacks (sort of a happy hour thing, though we were never there at that time). It is close to SW (I would not say walking, but a short drive) and convenient to shopping: just turn right onto Westwood IIRC, then right onto I-Drive for about a half mile to get to the Orlando Premium Outlets. FWIW.

We stayed there last October and were really impressed with the place:thumbsup2

We booked a king suite for a reasonable price for our school holidays here in the UK (£45 per night, $90) and were delighted with the size of the room which had two king size beds for us and our 14yo DD, a small fully kitted out kitchen with utensils, glasses, cutlery and plates, bowls etc. Full sized fridge/freezer (a real bonus to kee the wine, beer and water bottles in;) ). We had requested top floor (can't stand too much noise:snooty:) and got it overlooking the pool.

The pool itself was a good size with plenty of inflatables if you have little ones (or big ones who like to use them!). There is a nice little restaurant selling burgers, fries etc next to the pool, as well as a pizza hut.

The indoors restaurant served a nice enough hot and cold buffet in the morning for free (but don't get excited about huge choices). On the Sunday morning it was heaving though so we opted to sit outside and eat our breakfast.

The staff there were so friendly and helpful, too:)

We split out stay between this and the Courtyard by Marriott at Palm Parkway, LBV where I'd gotten free rooms with my loyalty card. At the CBM we had a one bedroomed suite and it was so small compared to the great room we'd had at Residence Inn.

All in all we had a great stay at the Residence Inn and would not hesitate to do so again.
