Marriott recommendation near our planned activities

Our non-parks, two night, three day trip is coming together with the following plans:

Arrive 12/26 - later in the day - dinner at Fogo de Chao
12/27th - Disney Springs morning/relax at hotel if warm enough to swim, swim, maybe Icon Park for dinner - Orlando Magic Game at night
12/28 - head to south Florida

Currently have Gaylord booked. We have been to a couple of Gaylords, including Opryland - very familiar with the xmas events/decor/vibe. We do enjoy it but won't be paying for the activities - booked it more for the waterpark area - but who knows if it will be warm enough to swim.

Based on these plans, and thinking through how much to drive, is there a "closer" Marriott to what we are looking to do? Or is this splitting hairs?

World Center Marriott is just up the street on SR 536 east of I-4, and JW Marriott is across the street on the Disney side of I-4. Those are the closest 2. Swan and Dolphin are Marriott properties, and there are others further north near Sea World.

Ok - so this World Center Marriott looks enormous - and a full water park. I'll have to compare this with Gaylord (ignoring the xmas stuff). We are using points and it's pretty equal, with World Center being slightly less points.

So... at Christmas - if you are going to do the Gaylord activities like go to ICE or do the tubing.... that might win for me. Mid summer - I might say World Center would win. It's colder in Dec - and while I'm sure its heated - the water park isn't as big a draw for ME in December.
