Marriott Properties Time Share

I am doing some research for a trip in April. My mom and dad have a time share in Hilton Head and offered us their extra week in Orlando. Which Marriott Time Share is closes to the parks? We have hopper passes so it really does not matter which park. I would like to be on the bus line (wishful thinking) so we don't have to rent a car.

I think the closest are the three Palms, near the World Center Marriott. Then there are the ones near Sea World like Horizons or Cypress Harbour. As far as I know, none are on WDW bus lines. Now if you are looking at an Orlando city bus, you will have to check the Lynx lines but I do not know how convenient that will be. At best, some will have different shuttles to various parks (some of which may require a fee). Since these are timeshares and you will probably be needing groceries and such, you may be better off with a car rental (esp. if you are looking at a paid park shuttle anyway). Personally I would not stay off property without a car, too much hassle. FWIW.

You'll really need to rent a car when staying at Marriott. Although, the Marriotts over by Seaworld (Marriott Horizons, Cypress Harbour, and Grande Vista) are on the I-Ride trolley line for shopping.

Try Mousesavers.com for some good car rental rates and info. Also, take a look at Tripadvisor.com for info on the various Marriott Vacation Club properties in Orlando. Our favorites are Marriott Horizons and Cypress Harbour. There is also the palm Marriotts by the Marriott World Center which are pretty close to Downtown Disney - Royal Palms, Imperial Palms and Sabal Palms (Sabal is being refurbished soon so that would be a last choice for me). At least until they are through refurbishing Sabal.
