Marriott Harbour Lake question

Do any of the 2 bedroom suites at Marriott Harbour Lake have two double beds? The Chase Travel portal is showing a "Villa, 2 Bedrooms, Non-smoking, Balcony" option. When I click on "room details" at the very top it lists it as 2 double beds. I don't see anything on the Marriott Harbour site that says they do, but I'm wanting to double check with those who would know.

It's really strange because the listing will show available to book for 4 people, but change it to 5 and it's not bookable...

We stayed in the 2-bedroom villa several years ago, and I recall it had a king in one BR and two queens in the other. I think it also had a pull-out couch.

That sounds right. This is what's from their website: https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/mcoho-marriotts-harbour-lake/rooms/

I attached screenshots from the Chase portal. I mean I'm thinking it's a Chase error but it's just so weird the option to book it drops off when changing the guests from 2 adults 2 kids to 3 adults 2 kids.

I'm going to risk asking the dumb question here. Do you have to go to a time share presentation if you book through something like the Chase travel portal? I'm considering booking a resort like this, Orange Lake, or another resort and honestly have no idea because I've never done it before? Is i t a pretty high pressure sale or if you decline once you're not going to continually be pressured to go?

What's the drive like to the park? How does the resort compare to something like Orange Lake? I would have even considered Club Bonnet Creek but the restrictions make me a bit nervous...

I'm just kind looking for good options for kids since I have two under ten and it's the first time they will have been to WDW.

It does appear they have two types of 2 bedroom.

I was looking at booking there this summer (via MVC) and one has two beds in the second bedroom and the other has two kings, but the second is a lock off with sofabed and kitchenette.

What we were looking at was this -

2 Bedroom Villa, Bedroom 1: 1 King, Bedroom 2: 2 Queen, Sofa bed, Balcony

We ended up booking Sabal Palms at World Center, less points and they are opening a new "waterpark" area there.

So you think Harbour Lake has a 2 bedroom suite where 1 is a double bed in 1 room and there is a double bed in the other room? I'm going to double check but I don't think the Chase listing even mentions a sofa bed?

Have you confirmed Sabal Palms is going to get access to the new waterpark that's opening up for the hotel? I thought I saw something online somewhere that only the hotel guests are going to get to use and access it until maybe fall?

When we were there, we did not have to go to a timeshare presentation, but I booked directly from Marriott.

I will add, it’s a wonderful resort for young children!

Yes they create a two bedroom using a one bedroom and lock-off "studio" guest room. Each bedroom will have a king bed. There is a sofabed in the lock off bedroom and one in the living room. So the units combined still sleep 8 using the sofabeds. I've stayed in one of these before. Floorplan below.

We've stayed in Imperial Palms at World Center last summer and had access to everything - but I wouldn't be surprised if they limited the waterpark option at first. Our main reason for Sabal is the location to Disney as that is our main focus and the points we saved. Also we have Disney AP with Waterpark option so if we can't use it that is fine, we'll probably do both waterparks at Disney.

I decided to first call Chase and after like 20 minutes they said I'd have to call Harbour Lake directly. I did and they said all their two bedroom suites have a King bed in one bedroom, a queen bed in another, and the sleeper sofa bed in the living room. So I guess Chase has it wrong...?

I don't know, those floor plans I posted are direct from Marriott Vacation Club booking. Perhaps there are different variations available to different types of bookings. When we were checking to book with "timeshare/owner" points, we could get the second bedroom with two beds.

Marriott owner here!

The majority of Harbour Lake 2 bedrooms are dedicated units (not lock offs). Sabal Palms is the better resort to stay at if you have kids that are at least 48 inches because of the slides. HL is only better for kids under 48 inches.

We are Marriott HL owners. The 2-bedroom villas have two queen beds in one bedroom, a king bed in the primary bedroom, and a pullout sofa in the living room. Sleeps 6 comfortably, up to 8 total.

We booked for next late February/early March. Can we get groceries delivered? Do you find the pools to be overwhelmed by kids (this is a question based on the TripAdvisor reviews)? Thanks!
