Marriott Harbour Lake - good sellers?

Is there any company like Vacation Strategy or Vacation Upgrades that does Marriott? I see stuff on ebay and don't mind going that way but if there is a company that specializes in Marriott or does this as a job, I would rather do that. If there isn't, are there any ways to protect myself on the ebay side? I'm thinking if I do it, I would pay with my credit card through paypal, and check references.

Generally, the people selling on ebay have feedback and a sales history you can check. That is always the best place to start. You'll notice that many people are selling reservations just like a business.

Another tip is to engage the seller -- do they respond to your questions? Do they know what they are selling?

I've seen Marriott timeshares for rent on redweek.com, tugbbs.com and vrbo.com.

While lots of people seem to rent Wyndham properties, Marriott is more rare.

I think the issue with Marriott's in Orlando is that an owner can not very often rent a unit for a profit. The maintenance fees are high and there is a huge amount of competition in Orlando. With $1100+ maintenance fees, they find it hard to find renters willing to pay more than that so they can make a profit or even break even.

Depending on the time of year you are going, you might find the cheapest prices on Marriott.com. It comes with daily maid service, something that you won't get renting from an owner. If you know a timeshare owner that is a member of Interval International, they may be able to book a getaway week for you. These are usually very cheap in Orlando as long as you are not traveling during peak season.
