Anybody out there stayed at the Marriott Cypress Harbour resort ? I came across it on the web and we were very impressed with the facilities - we are planning a trip in October/November 2003 - two weeks outside of Disney and a week in the Wilderness Lodge...we have earmarked Cypress Harbour as a possibility as they do two bedroom villas which would suit our party of four adults & two children.

Can anybody help???? What are the on site facilties like??? How convenient is it to International Drive????? The I Trolley is supposed to stop at this property is it convenient???? Would really love it if somebody could help...we stayed with Vistana last time were very impressed with them but would like to try somewhere different this time.

Cypress Harbour is a little further from wdw than vistana, but its still fairly convenient. We think the rooms are appointed better and there would be plenty of room for your group. Swimming pools and activity centers are on site---but we haven't used them much. It is convenient to I-Drive; albeit the south(?) end. I think you will enjoy Cypress Harbour:p

I think Cypress Harbour is right across from another Marriott timeshare called Horizons, which is the place we stayed. It had two bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed and bathroom, the other bedroom had 2 beds a queen and a double size. Another bathroom is off the 2nd bedroom, but you can enter it from the kitchen area as well. A queen size sleeper in the living room. Both bedrooms and the living room had televisions. The kitchen was nice, full size fridge, stove ,oven, microwave and dishwasher, dishes, pots and pans etc... There is a washer and dryer, which I loved because I was able to pack lighter. It is an unfinished property, still building, but did not interfer with anything. The pool was fantastic. Zero entry, with a huge pirate ship with slides and water cannons, my kids loved this (ages 1- 13). There is a water playground with all kinds of sprinkler type stuff, very fun. Also a small playground with slides and monkey bar stuff. A nice exercise room good equipment. There is a poolside bar that has great drinks and easy meals, burgers, salads, sandwhiches. Two hot tubs and a small kiddie/toddler pool. We had a blast here, my kids wanted to stay and just swim instead of going to the parks. We are planning a trip in Dec. and my 16 year old shocked me the other day by saying she really liked it there and wanted to go back. Unfotunatly it is all booked at that time. It might be worth it for you to check out.

I just realized you might think I was descibing Cypress Harbour. The description above is for Horizons. Sorry about that!

Was there in '96. We had a 2/3 BR unit with sunken jacuzzi in master bedroom. Pool area excellent, kitchen was well-equipped. Overall, a very fine offsite condo alternative. Close to seaworld if you want to put in on your agenda.
