I just booked for our July 20-25 stay at the Marriott Anaheim Suites. It's our first stay there -- we usually stay at the Hyatt Orange County. But the Hyatt is full on some of the days of our stay. So, I did some searching and came across a $99 rate at the Marriott Anaheim Suites. It's a 1-bedroom with 2 double beds, a living room, and a mini fridge.

Has anyone stayed there? What did you think of it? TIA!

We've stayed there several times. The rooms are very nice. I would say they're actually nicer than the Hyatt, which we've also stayed at several times. The beds are comfortable and there is a real door separating the 2 rooms. The bathroom is L shaped and has a door to each room. We usually get the king bed, and the kids sleep on the sofa bed in the living area. The lobby's & public areas of the Hyatt are much more "impressive" (for lack of a better word) than the Marriott, but the Marriott is nice. We enjoy staying there.

staying here for the first 2 night of our 9 night vacation in may. booked a king suite for $119 per night (Fri and Sat) Also looking for some feedback, mostly heard good feedback from this place.

Thanks, JenCav5, for the comparison between the Hyatt and the Marriott Suites. I agree with you that the Hyatt does have an impressive lobby.

This time, I couldn't justify paying over $200 to get a kidsuite at the Hyatt, where there is availability, plus $15 per day for parking. (The cheaper Hyatt standard rooms are sold out.) The Marriott Suites was charging a AAA rate of $99, and it also includes free parking. I think I got a good deal :woohoo:

I also looked into the Candy Cane Inn, which was charging over $130 per night for the time we're going and the Hojo Anaheim, which was charging over $120 per night with the Disboards discount. Too bad, I really wanted to try either out as it gets such raves from Disers, not to mention its proximity to the DL gates.

VegasMike, when are you going?

I'll be at the Mariott Suites May 16th and 17th then moving onto the Residence Inn in Fullerton for the next 7 nights.

Thanks VegasMike!
Can you post a review of the hotel when you get back? I would most appreciate it. Because we're investing 5 nights at this hotel, I'd like to find out more about it.

Hey, those dates you're going to Anaheim are the dates we're off to Vegas! Taking my dad for his 75th birthday. Staying at the MGM Signature.
