I finally gave up on Disney releasing rooms for my trip in January (I wanted to use shareholder discount)and booked at the Marriot instead. :yay: It will probably work out better as I'm travelling with my Mother / Mother in Law and 4 year old daughter so this way we will have more living space.

Does anyone know what the transport to and from Hotel to park is like. :confused3
We are only going for two days so if need be we will use taxi's.

Also we might use left luggage at the park on our first day. Can anyone how we go about this (ie do you need to book in advance) and what the charges are.

hi, we booked are trip for next march with Disney, they released the rooms a few weeks ago unless its different for the discount bookings. :confused3
The brochures are not released for another week though.

When we were at Disney a last December we spoke to a Rep from Marriot Village d'ile-de-France who said that there was no shuttle to the parks though the thread on the hotel sticky Say's that there is so I am a bit confused about that one.

Angela, I looked on Tripadvisor and someone had reported "The shuttle bus was free to disney parks and went from reception 4 times a day, returning from the park 4 times late afternoon/evening. We used the hotel private shuttle bus outside of these times, which you basically could have whenever you needed it - a bargain at 15 euros a trip!" I believe I have also read somewhere that you can walk to the end of the road and catch a no.34 bus to the parks. We often saw the no.34 arriving when we were waiting for our no.54 to the Explorers!

We have used left luggage at the parks. It is to the right of the ticket booths and costs 2.50 euros per item (or 3 items free for each Dream annual passholder.) :)

According to this timetable, there is a 34 and a 57 bus that travel between the Marriott and Chessy Gare a.k.a. Disneyland Paris!! You will also be within walking of this little supermarket - very handy :thumbsup2

The Marriott looks like a lovely place to stay - I would love to here what you think about it. :)

Thanks All

I had looked at the Sticky thread but couldn't fathom out when the 34 went to the parks. :rotfl2:

We might get one dream passport in October to cover using left luggage on way in and out and hiring a stroller for both trips.

I agree that it looks a lovely place to stay.

Do you know if there is a limit on stroller use. I seem to remember reading that you cannot move them between parks .Is that right :confused3

Since I booked my Christmas Trip on the Marriot Website I've noticed that they are doing a special rate at the time we are due to visit in October. Currently we are booked at the Explorers.

Overall it would increase the cost of our stay by only £60 and DD would have her own room !!

Downside is I'm not sure of the travel to and from the park yet ?

What would you do. :confused3

We are travelling with another family and both of us will have 4 year olds with us.

We stayed a week at the Marriott Village d'ile de France, and absolutely loved it. The villas are spacious (two bedrooms, living room, dining room, full kitchen, and laundry room), and tastefully furnished. We would return in a heartbeat.

As for transportation to DLP, we had a rental car which was very convenient. With a car, we were also able to visit the local shopping mall and outlet mall, supermarket, and went on daytrips to Fountainbleau and to Reims and Epernay in the Champagne Region.

The Marriott had a shuttle that we used a couple of times. But to be sure, I would call the hotel to see if it is being offered during your stay.

No they do not limit it. We just hander stroller back as we left Disneyland and headed to Studios. Handed it back there and then rehired back at Disneyland park.

You can I believe leave a heafty deposit and take it out of the parks but we never explored this.
