Could I have your opinions on the Marriot Horizons..

we are looking for some place to stay in August and this is coming up as an option..

I haven't stayed there yet - but it is a lovely resort.

Especially wonderful if you have small children. This resort was designed with children in mind.

Loved it. Stayed there in March and requested one of the newer units in Building 15 (maybe it was 14). These two are the newer buildings.Had a poolview and open, airy layout with a nice big screen tv. The master did not have a tub, just a very nice large shower but the second bedroom was large with 2 double beds. We've stayed at Cypress Harbour, Vistana, Star Island and Cypress Pointe and this was one of our best so far. If you have young children, they will absolutely love the pool area. Actually my DD is 12 and she enjoyed it as much as our 7 year old DGD. There is no store on site but a bar/snackbar by the pool. Also, the location is great. We really enjoyed our stay. Resort had a nice Caribbean layed back feel to it. There is a also a peaceful, beautiful lake with walking docks and gazebos with swinging benches etc.
