Marriage Proposal Ideas at WDW?

We're going to WDW as a family over Christmas for about 10 days, and my wife's birthday is in there as well. I'd like to ask her to marry me again while we're there and I was hoping you guys could give me some good ideas about where, when, if there's anything special I could do or that Disney would do. I've got us a dinner reservation on her birthday and I could do it then, but I'd appreciate ideas!

Where is your dining reservation? CRT offers a proposal package (Call 407-824-4477 at least 7 days in advance) or there are select other restaurants at which you can have a speciality slipper dessert or cake delivered with "Will you marry me?" as well as other messages inscribed in chocolate. I did mine by the Wishing Well by the castle. I had a glass slipper and a ring. DD took videos.

Without getting too personal, you might want to think abut what is special in your marriage and then pick a place that encompasses that. For example, if my husband proposed to me again at the ESPN Club, I'd be a happy camper since we both love and enjoy watching sports together. We did renew our vows in front of our favorite band's stage at Disney World (on the sly and quickly) so that was special.

Heck, just find one of the photo pass guys in front of the castle, give him the 411 then kneel down and do it. That's what I plan on doing with my wife anyway. Luckily she is not on this forum.

I proposed while riding the PeopleMover... just as it entered the starry skies of Space Mountain. It's one of my favorite rides and as long as it stays in operation, I like knowing that we'll always be able to relive that special moment. "Paging Mr. Morrow.... Mr. Tom Morrow....."

Trying getting a character involved at a meet and greet if that is your - or their - thing. Let them know before hand and you'll get great photos. Same is true of a character meal, but you need to let them know ahead of time.

Make and ADR at Narcosse around 9:00 pm when MK Wishes are at 10:00. Order a glass of wine slip in ring ( either a nice ring from a jewelry store or a toy ring from Disney), take her out side to watch the fireworks and make sure she notices the ring in the glass then make your move!
