Marrakesh

I have read quite a few negative reviews of Restaurant Marrakesh - at least regarding the food. Everyone seems to agree that the atmosphere is good, however.

My husband and I have always wanted to eat here and have plans to go in December. But we really want to go more for the food - if you have eaten there and have any thoughts, I would appreciate them!

I think I've only seen 1 or 2 negative reports on the food.
I've found the overwhelming majority to be raving good reports.
We loved the food and the atsmophere. The service was a little slow, and I've heard that complaint from others as well.

My observation is that you can find both good and bad reviews for every WDW restaurant. I think you pretty much have to try them out for yourself to know for sure.

The atmosphere at Marrakesh is fun. I'm more adventurous an eater than the average, and I thought the food was great. DH is much pickier, and even he did fine. If you haven't already, check out the menu at www.allearsnet.com

We have dined at Restaurant Marrakesh twice and were quite pleased both times. The decor, the food and the entertainment get high marks! The Roast Lamb dish is to die for. It is so tender, it melts in yor mouth. The kababs are OK as well. The bastilla dessert dish is another of our favorites. Marrakesh is worth a try! We will be going back!

We love Marakesh. We love the atmosphere, decor, entertainment, service, but mostly love the food. We find it is priced reasonably, and not too exotic. Our last meal there was soooo good we bought the cookbook. Even the rolls they bring to your table are wonderful! We wouldn't miss going there.

We enjoyed Marakesh and I have some picky eaters in the family. They had no problem finding something they liked. We haven't tried Germany or Norway because of their tastes, but we will go back to Marakesh in the future.

We really enjoyed this restaurant during our visit. The food was really good and the service was great. The atmosphere was very authentic and we would visit again.

I have a teenage daughter who can be somewhat of a picky eater. But, she asked, " if we could go back to Marrakesh" she and I love the Chicken Bastilla. And the atmosphere is a nice change of pace. Very relaxing!

It's funny, before I posted this poll it seemed like I kept reading that people thought the food was just okay and that it was not spicy at all.

My husband is very glad that the majority of people enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere! He said he was going even if everyone said they hated it.....but of course he has to go wherever the wife will be happy!

I found the food to be excellent - and plentiful! Our meals were so big (chicken couscous and a kebab) that we were way too full for dessert (evn though I would have liked to try some)!
