I've been lurking for awhile and have found these boards to be very helpful in planning our upcoming trip. Thanks for all the honest opinions!

My family will be taking our first trip to WDW in July. (We used to live near DL and have been there hundreds of times.) We will be celebrating my parent's 35th, my graduation from grad school (MLS) and my brother's graduation from college. This is a very well deserved trip! :)

I'm in charge of making ADRs for the trip and I have one more left and can't decide between Marrakesh and Chefs. I've heard positive and negative things about both resturants.

If you had to choose, which one would you pick and why?

If it helps, I'm 23, my brother is 21, and my parents, well, I'm smart enough not to broadcast their ages! None of us are very picky and have no dietary restrictions.

We will also be eating at: Jiko, Le Celliar, WCC, '50's Prime Time Cafe, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Boma.

Thanks in advance!

I would definitely go with Chefs. We have eaten there many times both for lunch and dinner and have always had great experiences. As far as marakesh goes...though it was once one of our favorites, because of our last visit we will not be going there for a long time. If you are interested read my review here:

Chefs de France is one of our favorite restaurants. I love the atmosphere (we've had good luck with waiters) esp. if you can sit in the front room so you can people watch. We prefer it for lunch because they have a prix fixe menu and I love salad Nicoise which they only serve at lunch. They have the best french onion soup that we've ever had and good desserts, too. We've never been to Marrakesh.

I have not eaten at Chefs (plan to next trip!), but I wasn't really impressed with the food at Marrakesh when I ate there in January. I thought it was fairly bland and boring - not what I was expecting. The service was decent and the belly dancer was neat. I did love the interior of the restaurant.

We were in WDW the first week of June and ate at both resturants.. DD 26, DH and myself(old enought not to publish ages LOL) I would definately do Chefs de France. It was excellant. Plus the wine was sooooo good. We had a Pinot blanc that our waitress suggested.
As for Marakesh..not a good food experience. Wait staff was "business like" not too open to talking with us, just eachother. Belly dancer was very good. My lamb shank was dried out. I would not recommend this resturant. This was our second attempt and both times failed.
