Can you order just coffee and a dessert or do you have to order the whole meal?

My 2 DS's (10,13) want to see the belly dancers:rotfl:
I have ressies already for Le Cellier Steakhouse and I WILL NOT cancel them just so my sons can get a thrill :rotfl:

They are having to put up with the princess and character meals as their little sister wants to see all the characters ... teenage boys are NOT thrilled with winnie the pooh :rotfl: so their argument is the ONE PLACE they want to eat the whole entire week we are there and I am not letting them....

So trying to find a compromise... I thought we could reserve a table for a dessert and coffee... any suggestions?

thanks! I messed up on clicking the wrong forum... I thought I posted this in restaurants:confused3

I have never been asked what I was intending to order when I made ADRs or at the podium when checking in at a restaurant.

I love Marrakesh. Why don't you do one restaurant for lunch and the other for dinner?

I thought about that but the Dads in the party won't give up the Rose and Crown ...:lmao:
We are doing the Deluxe dining plan as I have big eaters with the guys in the family!
On our 2 days in Epcot (in the park) this is what I have beaten them into submission to agree to:

Day 1 (focus on Worldshow case)
Rose and crown lunch
Le Cellier Steakhouse dinner

Day 2 (focus on future world areas)
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall lunch
Garden Grill dinner

I was thinking that on Day 1 around 4pm we should be making it to Morocco. I was thinking of taking a rest there and ordering a coffee and letting the boys get a dessert so they could see the belly dancers and all. The lunch is for 12:30 and the dinner is for 8pm so 4 would most likely work.

The worst thing in the world is having a family that knows all the places to eat and they all want to eat somewhere different :lmao:
THEY ARE KILLING ME HERE!!!!

Here is the entertainment schedule from Steve Soares' website:

Restaurant Marrakesh
Traditional Moroccan music and dance inside Restaurant Marrakesh.
Daily at 12:50, 1:50, 2:50, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00 & 8:10pm
Belly Dancer begins 10 minutes after show begins.
Length of show: 25 minutes

So to see the dancer you really want a 5pm ressie, not a 4pm one.

Might I suggest that you not plan to eat at Marrakesh, but rather that you plan to catch a show outside the Moroccan Pavilian put on by a band called (I really think this is the correct bad pun) "Mo-Rockin'." They are a middle eastern rock band and the dancer comes out and joins them for a number or two and then poses for pictures afterward. That way your guys could see the "show", maybe get a picture to remember, and you wouldn't have to change your dining plans. When we were there in October, the times for the band's performances were posted near the front of the pavilion.

They will not let you make a reservation for the same meal either lunch or dinner if you have one already, so if you have Le Cellier and you make Marrakesh they will cancel your Le Cellier, and then you will be ,um, upset? lol
