Marrakesh or Tutto Italia?

Oh, what to do? What to do?

I thought this year would be fun to give Marrakesh a try as we often do the smaller, CS meal for lunch at the Tangierine Cafe & enjoy it. Is the Marrakesh similiar to that? Are we wasting a TS credit to eat there if we do the CS at Tangierine?

I've just started thinking about *maybe* doing Tutto Italia...we are not usually BIG Italian eaters though we like it well enough. We do have Mama Melrose on our list this year though too....are they similiar?

What would you do? What's good at each place?

I have not done Marrakesh, but I love Tutto. I usually try and eat there everytime I'm in the World showcase. For lunch I get Lasagna and for dinner I get the porkshank mmmmm.

The last time we eat at the outside area just ourside Tutto and that was a nice day and meal, but then again it was Feburary and not hot or humid.

Marrakesh is nice. Liked their food. Have not done Tutto but DMIL and DFIL have doen it and liked the food.

We ate at Marrakesh and as a family who grew up overseas in Europe, I thought we would like it for it's unique flavors. Uh, nope. We hated it. The only TS we've been to that we just did not care for. We would never eat there again.

Now, maybe you would like it. Who knows unless you try? But for us- it would be Italy.

We've eaten pretty much everywhere at WDW, and Marrakesh is my favourite restaurant for many reasons: great food, service, atmosphere, location and entertainment.

Have eaten at Alfredo's (before Tutto Italia) and Tutto several times, and I consider it to be one of the most overrated restaurants on property: grossly expensive, subpar food and service. You can get a much better meal at Portobello Yacht Club or even Mama Melrose, IMHO.

Me, DF and FMIL went there for dinner I donno if it was because we went right before the park closed or what but We didn't like it at all. But the dessert was great! Other then that we would never go back!

Hmm.... I voted before I read your post. I think I would do Marrakesh instead of Tutto since you have MM planed already. We actually enjoyed both places. They both have fantastic service. We like the food more at Tutto, but we love Italian. The food at Marrakesh was really good as well. Honestly, you can't go wrong with either one.

I found the food at Marrakesh to be surprisingly bland. I wouldn't not eat there but I also wouldn't rush back. I actually preffered the CS place which I quite like a lot. Haven't tried Tutto so nothing to offer there. I am a fairly adventurous eater who lives in a major metropolitan city and generally loves most ethnic foods if that is helpful in deciding if our tastes are similar and whether my review is useful for you.

I think Tutto had some of the best food that we've had at WDW (other than the "signature dining" places). Seriously, everything we tried there was outstanding.

We go for Restaurant Marrakesh.

We love both,, but would give the edge to Tutto Italia. I love the salmon with lemon and capers appetizer, the fish with clams entree, and the zabiglione with fresh berries. In fact, I'll be back at Tutto Italia May 15th, then again in Sept, then again in Dec. It's one of the few restaurants that is a must do every trip. Marrakesh we usually only do about once a year.
