marks and spencer travel money ??

Hi has anyone used M&S online to order travel money? I tried to order 600 pounds of US dollars this morning, as the exchange rate was at 1.84.
I got to the end of the order to get a screen which was saying that my order was declined. Thought this was a bit strange as there was ample money in my bank account. When I checked the bank online I could see that the 600 pounds had been taken ? I immediately phoned M&S who yold me that everything was fine with my bank and that the transaction had been authorised, but M&S had taken the decision to decline the order in case I was comitting Internet Fraud ! M&S have refunded the 600 which is now showing back in my account - I am just a bit confused as to why M&S came to this decision - and if they do this to everybody who tries to order online - how do they make any money ?

We tried to order money online but a similar thing happened to us, the money did not actually come out of the bank. After trying for a few times we just went into the shop to purchase it.

I always use M&S online and have never experienced any problems. This is very odd, it's not like £600 worth of dollars is an exorbinate amount.
