How do you do it?

I want something that someone can't easily take off. Something that maybe has our last name on it.

I don't want to use anything permenant like paint or anything. But something that would be difficult to remove by someone else.

Ideas?

We have a bright lavender diaper bag that we hang over the handle of the stroller. It makes it easy to find because it is large and I haven't seen any others that color. I guess technically it could be taken off, but we have never had a problem.

We did 2 things. 1st we got those velcro luggage bands. They wrap around the handles of the luggage and are in bright colors. They actually make the handle more comy and are easily seen. 2nd we got zip ties in bright colors and wrapped them around the handle. They're small but you could tie more stuff to it, and they can't be taken off at all unless they're cut.

This is exactly what we do. I also make a card with our info on it and have it hard laminated at Staples and that is what I attach to our handle. I put a clip art on the other side. We make these for all our luggage.

Zip ties... where would I find those?

Thanks for all of the tips!

You can find zip ties in hardware departments of stores like Target.

Some people have also used gift wrap ribbon, especially the mylar kind or curling ribbon. Both of them are bright colors and hard to get off without cutting them.

We used a bunch of stuff. The Disney Commemorative luggage tag had all our information, but of course could be easily removed. The huge LGMH made out of posterboard was more difficult to remove, but easy to see. The "Got Milk" and mickey head stickers were very difficult to remove, but didn't have any identifying characteristics. You could however, make a sticker with all your info on it. Now, here's what I was going to do because I was paranoid and thought someone would LOVE my pink stroller so much they'd steal it, but got lazy and never did it: I was going to get material, like canvas, and write our info on it, then using identical pink thread so it didn't show through, SEW IT to the BOTTOM of the stroller. So, if someone stole my pink stroller I would walk up to them and be like, "OH, nice stroller, are you sure its yours?" And they'd be like "Er, uh, of course it is." And I'd flip it over and go, "AHA! Can I see some ID please Miss Jane Doe of Central PA?"

We used the links that you get from discovery toys. We then hung them from the handles and used them while DS was in the stroller to put toys on. They are brightly colored and I didn't see anyone else using them.

We have several Mickey stickers that you get in various places in the parks on our stroller. They would peel off, but it would definitely take some time in order to do that. We also have stickers from home on it too...it's very personalized!

I printed off a mickey mouse head, backed it with lime green, put our info on the backside, and then laminated it. Then I tied it to the stroller with lime green ribbon. We had two strollers and used the same tags for both. I was impressed that even though the CMs moved them from where we parked them...they were ALWAYS kept together! :thumbsup2 Also, I was spotted by a couple of fellow DISers :teeth:

I printed our name using a labelmaker and stuck that on the handle. Then I also have a brightly colored and patterned ribbon hanging from it so I can see it from afar.

I use a bright colored luggage tag, hide labels from a label maker on the the inside frame, and take a bright colored bandana with our name in a contrasting color ironed on. Taking lots of safety pins, I put it on the sunshade. When I park the stroller I lock the sunshade open. Takes only a few seconds to spot it in a crowd. If you're worried about someone stealing your stroller, I dont think its a big problem at WDW. Ive never had a problem, and have sometimes even left merchandise in the basket. Now rental strollers are sometimes taken either on purpose or by error. Dont be alarmed if you come out of a ride and cant find your stroller. CMs will move them around to make room for others/keep the walkways clear.

We used neon masking tape on the handle of ours. Theft hasnt ever been a concern of mine. But the tape is very easy to spot in a sea of strollers.

We kept the bright Yellow magical express tag on ours. Of course it would be easy to cut off, but noone ever touched ours and it was very easy to locate in the stroller zones!!

This is easy to remove but does make finding my navy blue stroller easier in the sea of strollers. I use a hanging kitchen towel-you know the kind you can attach to your stove handle or fridge door? I actually read the tip here on the boards and it took me a long time before I finally found one at Kohl's. Then you've got a towel in case of emergency. Worked great for me.

I didn't see this hint yet...I put an extra glow bracelet in the mesh pocket of our rental stroller. After dark, it was SO easy to find our stroller among the legion of similar rentals. It is really hard to read those nametags in dark areas and the glow bracelet was a lifesaver!

Yes, someone could have taken it out easily, but that did not happen to us. We found this out by accident and I was so glad. Have fun!

PS. I love the towel idea, I am going to try that.
