Markets around HoJo Inn at Maingate East

Will be arriving in FL in about 1 week staying at the Howard Johnson Inn Maingate East. Does anyone have any advice about markets/supermarkets or convenience stores within walking distance of this hotel? We will be flying and I'm not sure what to take or not take on the flight. Have 4 hungry teenagers and always needing FOOD!!

markets that are going to be fairly close to this hotel where you will be staying so you will definitely be near places to get groceries. However, if I am remembering correctly on this, I don't believe they will be within a distance where you can easily walk to them (double check with the hotel for sure though). But, they will definitely however be a very short drive (like actually under 5 min. or so). There's also a Super Wal Mart that sells groceries right up the road too. Hope this helps; have a nice time!

There is a Publix, Walgreens, Baskin/Robbins, & Donkin Donuts within about a 10 to 15 min. walk from HoJo's. We always stay there when we go to WDW on the day that we arrive because it is such a great rate and on the first nite we get in in the evening so it's to late to go to the parks, why spen the $$$ on a WDW hotel. It is a clean and quiet place and very close to WDW. To get to the stores just go to your left as you are leaving HoJo's and go under the bridge (417), Publix is across from Walgreens and l little further back off of the road. Also, try Shoneys for breakfast, it is about 10 min. in the other direction and good food and low cost.
