Today is our last full day. As we are now staying at Beach Club I have booked an evening at the Rose & Crown to have dinner and watch illuminations.
First we are off to MGM as we had promised Megan a final go on Tower of Terror as this is her favourite and we ran out of time last night. Beach Club Villas proves to be a great location as we get the boat straight away and after Megan rides Tower of Terror we take a lovely walk back along the wakways beside Boardwalk. This is a truly beautiful walk
We now walk to Epcot and get a fastpass for soarin. Everyone apart from Mark (who goes to innovation to play games) takes the 40 minutes wait for Test Track. This is a great ride but always seems such a queue sadly. Mark is waiting for us outside and we ride Soarin. This year we are quite disappointed as we see all the legs and feet. I have someone in front of me waving and wiggling their legs wildly throughout the show. Still love the ride but do feel that Disney could have done something to stop the feet spoiling it.
Lisa, Maurice and the Kids head back to the villas to have a swim in the quite pool. Mark, me and Kirsty stay at Epcot to have a few drinks. First we go to England and find Winnie the Pooh
We were going to drink around the world a little but started off at the Rose & Crown and well just stayed there
We make our way back to the villas to get ready for tonight and bump into snow white and Dopey. We take a couple of photos
We get ready and arrive in time for our 7.30 reservation at Rose & Crown. This is the first time we have eaten here and it is really lovey. The food is great and are pleased to have such a great last night. Mark is very tipsy after drinking all day. He even has the three whiskeys that come on a wooden tray for afters.
Me and Lisa have the Baileys afters but we are so stuffed. It feels like we have not stopped eating for weeks now. The fireworks are great and we all feel sad that we are going home tomorrow. We stagger back to the villas for our final drinks before bed.
