For our next FL trip we might end up going in August just for a week, and we are staying at the Poly for 5 nights in Oct however since we drive we might arrive before our arrival date for the Poly. Anyways, my parents and I disagree where we should stay while we're in FL. We have annual wp passes and we will soon get weekday select. I tell them even though the water park transportation sucks, I'd rather stay at a Value Resort and plus we like to go to Disney Springs. But they like the Mariott, and it is the same price and almost cheaper. So I thought I'd ask which you guys would prefer

I would choose the Marriot under those circumstances. You are driving and already have booked the Poly for the majority of the trip. There is no reason to insist on an onsite resort at that point, You have an annual pass so I believe there will be no parking fee at teh park, and there will be at a value. Go with your parent's suggestion.

Unless you're paying for it, go with what your parents want. The Marriott will be perfectly fine in this situation.

The Marriott is considerably nicer. Not my video but stayed in a virtually identical 2BR villa in December.

If you have an annual pass to cover parking fees, even better.

Since you are driving, I would stay at the Marriott. You can easily drive in to Disney Springs with no problem. For the near same price, you might as well stay in the nicer room.
