Marine Mammal Keeper

I have done it twice: once on Thanksgiving 2007 and once last September. You can find a write up if you click on the "Staying at Mouse House Central" link near the end (last full day).

do you also have photos from your experiance? i so would like to see some from the day. where did the photographer too pics and how many are on the cd?

I have some photos. The photographer takes photos at Dolphin Cove and at Wild Arctic while doing the Beluga interaction. The first time round, she took some photos as well while I was backstage interacting with the dolphins there. Here are some photos from November 2007:

Hi

A large part of the tour is behind the scenes away from the public areas but for certain parts like the dolphin pool and wild arctic you are "in public" (as shown in the photos). Difficult to know then exactly at what times of the day you're "visible".

Cheers

I already thought it'd be like that.... So difficult for someone to follow... But since there's a photographer at the most important points (dolphins and beluga whales) I think I don't need someone to follow...

@ s.and.s: at which locations is their photographer? dolphins, belugas, and?

Normally just in those two places. The first time round, we had to go back to feed the dolphins backstage between the dolphin interaction at Dolphin Cove and the Beluga interaction at Wild Arctic. So the photographer just came along for this and took some more photos, but that is not the norm.

your pictures look amazing - after the experience do they give you an actual 7 day ticket for seaworld?? the reason i ask is that i have an annual pass just now but will be going back in december (subject to havig a job!!!!) and i was thinking i could just keep the ticket til then???

Hi

I don't know if its changed but when I went the MMKE was effectively one of the 7 days. When I visited Sea World a couple of days ahead of the MMKE day I presented the MMKE paperwork to the Guest Services window who stamped it with that day's date (to show when the 7 days started to run) and issued a one day pass to get me through the turnstiles. The same applied for other visits within 7 day time frame. (N.B. on the day of the MMKE you go through a staff entrance not the turnstiles). Might be worth emailing Sea World to see if they can do what you suggest.

Cheers

I can't help with this. Both times I also did Discovery Cove the same trip so my admission to Seaworld was covered with this.

is there some kind of rough timetable for the day? i know they change it everyday, but isn't it similar every day? and, is there a place my friend could stay and wait until the park opens?

hope someone can help me. thanks in advance!
