Marine Mammal Keeper Experience at SeaWorld

Hello I am signed up to do the Marine Mammal Keeper Experience in two weeks at SeaWorld. If anyone has done this before, could you give me some tips of what to expect? I've read reviews and I don't want the experience to be spoiled for me, but I mean more along the lines of, What should I wear? What should I bring along?

I would suggest wearing a swim suit with something comfortable over the top. And bring a bag with wiht a change of clothes. I'd say bring a pair of tennis shoes or shoes you don't mind getting wet in. If you do plan to wear tennis shoes; maybe bring a backup pair to switch to.

Wait, so... do you get in the water?
And is the backup pair you suggested only for afterward so you don't have to walk around the rest of the day in wet ones, or should we change them at lunch?
One more question... do we have to carry a bag around with us the entire trip? Like with the extra tennis shoes, for instance, or would there be a spot where I can leave my phone, change of clothes, etc.?

I just did the Marine Mammal Keeper in March. Wear a pair of shorts and shirt that you don't mind getting dirty. I really didn't get dirty...but just in case. Also, I wore an older pair of sneakers that I didn't care about. AGain....really not an issue, but better safe than sorry.

You need to bring a bathing suit, as you will change into a wetsuit very early in the morning. You will be in the wetsuit until lunch. They will provide you with booties.

Before lunch, you change back into your clothes and do a few more animal interactions: feeding the sea lions, and visiting the walrus.

I'm sure you will love it! It was truly one of the most amazing days I have ever spent. I am actually doing it again in June, as I am taking my niece as her 16th birthday present.
