Found out about the murder of Vince Marinello's wife (estranged) and his arrest. So I made sure to listen to Bob Mitchell last night. The emotion in his voice was so gut wretching - I don't know how he got through the show but he is such a class act - I would love to have him as one of my best friends (Bob Mitchell).

They'll be talking about this one for a while. So bizarre. I have to wonder what made him snap. Marital stress coupled with post-Katrina??

I feel for the whole crew at WWL Radio & all of his media cohorts. He was definitely an icon in the NO area. Right up there with Buddy D., Hap Glaudi, Garland & Angela, Jim Henderson....you get the picture.

Heard a bit of Bob Mitchell's tape this morning. It brought tears to my eyes to think that he worked along side this man for 12 years and had no idea.

Everytime I hear the story I feel as if it is a bad dream.

I have worked with Bob Mitchell in the past, and he is a class act, a man of deep faith which will get him through this.
