Marguerite Perrin's daughter killed in car crash.

The older daughter of Marguerite Perrin aka the God Warrior from Trading Spouses died yesterday in a single car accident.

A one-vehicle traffic accident claimed the life of 25-year-old Ashley Perrin of Ponchatoula Tuesday afternoon.

Perrin, of 525 Kathleen St., died on the Interstate 55 Southeast Service Road in Ponchatoula. Police Lt. Raymond Mauterer said the accident happened about 2:30 p.m.

She was alone in a mini van when it hit the guard rail while traveling north on the service road. The roadway showed no skid marks, Mauterer said, and the cause of the accident is unknown at this time.

She was ejected from the vehicle and was dead at the scene, Mauterer said.

Drugs or alcohol are not suspected, he said.

Perrin is the daughter of Marguerite Perrin, who gained national recognition for her role in the Fox television series "Trading Spouses."

I feel bad. She was trapped with that horrible mother -- there was promise for her and her daughter but she was staying close to home. I believe part of the money they got was dedicated to getting her out on her own.

I have often wondered if she took advantage of the opportunity.

I also remember the younger sister who was basically the family Cinderella.

What a sad situation. She seemed like a very sweet young woman. I did not know her or her immediate family, but her cousin is a dear friend to me. Knowing that precious little girl will grow up without her mother just breaks my heart.

That's sad. I don't remember the daughter, but I remember the mother from that episode.
