Margaritvaville in Orlando

We're cruising May 2013 on the fantasy. We're flying into MCO the day before and staying at the Hyatt. My Hubby has really wanted to go to Margaritaville, and i Map quested the one in Orlando, and its about 20 mins from the airport. Now my question is, what is the best/cheapest option to get there? Is there a bus or anything? Anyone have any experience? Thanks!

No transportation advice, we we were there a few weeks ago. Very good. Don't forget the AAA discount.

You could probably check with Mears or something. It's in Universal City Walk so you just need transport to/from Universal, right? A cab might be the way to go for on-demand convenience.

I agree. Rent a car for the day. Much cheaper than transportation in Orlando.

Maybe if you have another couple in your cruise group that wants to go you could split the cost.

It's SO WORTH IT!! If the DJ for Radio Margaritaville is broadcasting, you can even go say hello! If you had a rental car, you'd have to pay for parking.....so it's a tradeoff. M'ville is located in the Universal CityWalk in case no one has mentioned it to you! :cool1

Though you do have to pay for parking to go to city walk...same as going to the universal parks.

the parking garage discounts the rate to $3 if you park after either 6 or 7 pm.


it's about $18 rt per person to use the mears shuttle from mco to city walk.

i have used a taxi from rph to mco before and paid $35.

but, it was in off hours so cheaper than what you will see on the taxi estimator site.

you pay for mileage and time in the taxi, so if you hit traffic, the meter is ticking.
